Over 270 lifts in a range of mountains 900 meters up to 3,000meters in altitude.

There is plenty for all levels of skiers and boarders in the Maria Alm Area.  Children are well looked after in the village centre at the Ski Kindergarten.  Children from 3yrs up are put on skis and will quickly progress in the fun, well laid out environment.  Please note that we would recommend the use of a car to get to the kindergarten.  The nursery slopes of Hintermoos can be accessed on foot, but there is a 500meter walk up a hill to the slopes and ski school meeting point.  A ski bus can help here.

The high speed 2-seater chair is just along the road from the apartment.  A short walk, or jump on the frequent ski bus out side the front door, takes you to Maria Alm or Hinterthal ski areas.  At the end of the day, at the runs end, is a short walk back home, or stop at one of the many Après Ski locations on or off the slopes.  Higher up in the Arberg, you are spoilt for choice with scenic tree-lined motorway skiing over several valleys.  There is a huge amount of open territory both in and above the trees for Off-Piste action.  Maria Alm is a quiet resort, and you will find fresh tracks available days after a new snowfall.  For full information on the ski areas see the three ski area maps below.
