The Kitzsteinhorn at Kaprun is over 3,000 meters high and offers some of the best summer glacier skiing you will find anywhere in Europe. The drive from the house is approx 40 minutes to the lifts. The lifts open at around 8.00am in the morning and you can get fresh tracks even in July. Temperatures on the mountain can vary from daytime sub-zero up to tropical warm sunny days. |
